Who We Are
If you have ever felt like helping an animal, bird, fish, reptile in distress, then think of Thane CPCA. Thane CPCA (formerly Thane SPCA) was formed by like minded people to treat sick and injured street animals and wildlife.
Thane CPCA believes no animal should be denied treatment based on species or pedigree. All species find solace here, a hospital with species-wise wards.
Today, our premises can hold a menagerie of 100 animals. We have a separate quarantine ward, cat ward, wild bird enclosure, and a monkey enclosure all of this embellished by a beautiful little garden and a turtle pool along with a fully equipped air conditioned Operation Theater, an Intensive Care Unit and with a state-of-the-art Digital X-RAY unit.
To support our work, we operate three ambulances.
In the last 2 decades of the establishment of the organisation, more than 1,70,000 animals were rendered holistic service and hundreds of animals were successfully re-homed.
Thane CPCA's Motto RESCUE-REHAB-RELEASE is followed in spirit by the entire team, Consulting Surgeons and members of the organization.
