Nestled between Pune and Mumbai, Rural Raigad is fast developing due to its strategic location near major ports. However, this growth is shadowed by a glaring oversight – the lack of a comprehensive waste management system. At Aamhi, we're committed to addressing this issue by actively working across 10 villages in Raigad, focusing on removing and recycling plastic waste. Given the low commercial value of the collected waste and the rising costs of collection and segregation, we need your support. It costs us Rupees 28 to manage each kilogram of waste. With a goal to remove 100,000 kgs from our environment, we're aiming to raise 2,800,000 rupees.
