Project Kal Ki Chhaya - 38 million children of the age group 6-13 years have never attended any educational institution according to Census 2011. Around 200 children from Kamothe, Kalamboli and Kharghar nodes of Navi-Mumbai have begun their journey towards the light of education through Project 'Kal ki Chhaya'. Help them complete this journey by generously contributing to the cause of their education.
Your funds will be used for
- functioning of 3 drop in centers
- children's educational expenses like school admission fees , tuition fees, exposure visits, picnics and entertainments and nutritional requirements
Project Shakthi - Women who under the yoke of illiteracy are exploited in the confines of their homes are empowered through livelihood and vocational training programs so that they can secure financial independence. Around 20 women are being taught sewing. Your contributions will be used in running the sewing center and accelerating the program
Project Garbhdrithi- aims at empowering women who are in crisis pregnancy situations. Due to fear of abandonment, rejection and other domestic and societal factors the women are most often left with no other choice but to abort which are reported to cause severe psychological and gynecological damages to the women. Your contribution will be used in providing psychological counseling assistance to such women and give them access to medical care.
