Anthill playscapes have been directly attributed for greater classroom performance, improved attendance rates and reduced violent behaviour, in testimonies given by teachers and stakeholders involved in our projects. With the funds raised at the 2023 TMM, we wish to build 3 playscapes in remote rural geographies in Maharashtra from where we have received requests. This includes Zilha Parishad School Tugaon, Vidya Mandir Vandur and Zilha Parishad Primay School Badali. These funds will help us take play to 300+ children in these areas which will greatly enhance their social and emotional well-being. The cost of one playground will be approximately INR 3.5 lakhs which will include diverse activities focused on the holistic development of the child. This cost is inclusive of materials, project management, installation and design costs.
