About Us
St. Judes provides a home-away-from-home facility that looks after children with cancer and their parents and today serves children in 7 cities. Our impact is visible and profound. But in order to save more lives, we must expand our footprint. Far too many children are unable to access treatment and the care required to recuperate.
Our centres provide more than just a cost-free, clean and secure place to stay for each of these families: we also provide counselling, education, vocational skill training, ration and nutrition, transport to and from the treating hospitals and more importantly, the care and loving attention needed to help these children recover from an illness that otherwise has high abandonment rates.

Sponsoring a ‘family unit’ at our childcare center for one year
We wish to collect a total of INR 50,000 or more to accommodate a family for one year at our centre and yes you can make this possible.
A little intro on St Jude India Childcare Centres - Childhood cancers have a high rate of cure but medical treatment needs to be supported by an infection free, cheerful environment and proper nourishment.
Underprivileged parents from rural India bring their children diagnosed with cancer to large cities where high quality treatment is available. While treatment may last as long as two years.
St. Judes bridges this gap by offering a clean and safe accommodation to these families who often end up living on the footpath next to the treating hospital. Without St Jude accommodation, many children and their families reside on get stone pavements, roadside food and water, and complete insecurity.
We currently have 37 Centres with 459 family units in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Vellore, Guwahati and Delhi.
