Support My Campaign
Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

When I came out of my house, I didn’t know what my future held for me. All I wanted was to get away from the continuing violence. However, at Urja I have come to see what a happy and fulfilling life looks like. Practicing and running marathons have acted as a tool for building my resilience in tough times. I needed this resilience to face the challenges while navigating educational opportunities and livelihood parallelly. Now I am much more prepared to face the challenges ahead. I have participated in the Indian Navy Half Marathon, in Mumbai. This time I will run the Tata Mumbai Marathon to test my resilience. I along with other women of Urja are participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023\4 and would really appreciate your support in collecting the amount for myself and my peers. I would really appreciate it if I can garner your support so that I and many young women like myself can receive the support, and take steps to stand up for ourselves in the face of injustice and inequality.

About Me
My venture into running commenced when I joined Urja. By shifting my focus to daily physical health, i have unveiling a newfound confidence. Participating in the IIT Bombay Marathon was my starting point, and now, I'm eagerly gearing up for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 alongside my Urja companions. Running has not only enhanced my physical well-being but has also instilled a profound sense of liberation and achievement. It's a holistic journey that fosters self-assurance, inspiration, and the camaraderie of a supportive community. Currently, we're seeking assistance for the marathon, and any support in gathering funds for myself and my Urja peers is warmly welcomed. Let's savor the exhilaration of running together!
