I am a young running enthusiast and a development sector professional associated with Urja Trust, a Mumbai-based NGO that works for the protection, empowerment, and sustainable rehabilitation of young homeless women and LBT youth. 

At Urja we support young survivors of gender-based violence by facilitating access to a safe space, where individuals can heal from trauma, and embark on a journey of self-discovery, dignity, and holistic well-being. 

By running for Urja Trust, I stand for the equity, dignity, and safety of all marginalized women and trans persons, who have experienced the brunt of systemic violence and abuse.
