Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) also known as Doctors without Borders is an international medical Nobel Peace Prize winning humanitarian organization which provides medical assistance to vulnerable populations living in areas affected by conflict, epidemic outbreaks, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF is a non-profit organisation which believes in the principles of impartiality, independence, neutrality and accountability.

 In India, it has been working since 1999, providing essential medical care in around 10 states. Now it is working at Govandi-Chembur(Mumbai) area since 2016 for Tuberclosis(TB).Through our independent clinic and outpatient department (OPD) managed in collaboration with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) and National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) we provide medical and psychosocial care to people living with drug-resistant tuberculosis (DRTB). Most of our patients come from Mumbai - a city of 22 million people, 43,464 of whom have TB, and 10 per cent whom are infected with drug-resistant strains of the disease.
