I appeal to support campaign of Family Planning Association of India - RACE TO ERASE CERVICAL CANCER, because -
1. Cervical Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in women aged 15 to 44 years in India.
2. This is the only cancer that is preventable because more than 95% cervical cancer cases are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which can be prevented by a safe and effective vaccine.
3. Cervical cancer is considered a disease of inequity, commonly seen among dis-empowered and marginalized women from low and middle income countries.

- prevention through HPV vaccine
- Screening for cervical cancer
- treatment of precancerous lesions
- referrals for cancer treatment if diagnosed
My Fundraising Goal
I am associated with Family Planning Association of India (FPA India), Indore Branch as Branch Manager since last two decades. FPA India is best suited to engage with communities for the prevention of cervical cancer as it has reach across 18 states and 40 branches.
