Every 15 minutes a child is sexually abused in India. One in every two children are victims of child abuse, and one in four families do not come forward to report this sexual abuse. But, despite these shocking and heartbreaking statistics, we don't seem to fully realise the long term effects of child sexual abuse, such as high level anxiety depression, eating disorders as well as future sexual and relationship problems. In order to overcome these problems, people require long term professional counselling from experts, and this is exactly what the HEAL Foundation, headed by Rahul Bose, sets out to do. Many children in our country are suffering, their lives are being ruined, and with even the smallest donation, or even a forward or a share, YOU have the power to play a part in changing their lives.
