India is home to 19% of the world’s children, and today, it is has become one of the most unsafe places for them to live in.
Child Sexual Abuse is highly rampant in our country, with almost 4 children being abused every hour. This is extremely disgusting, and has the most devastating and irreversible effects on the victims. Survivors of child sexual abuse lack confidence, fear going out alone, sense a change in the behaviour of family members and in case of children above 15, there is a tendency of self-blame and self-harm.
The Foundation’s aim is to ease discrimination practiced by the community towards survivors and the self discrimination survivors experience through workshops that they conduct for people across all ages.
