I am a 15 year old girl studying in The Cathedral and John Connon School and have decided to raise money for an NGO called HEAL, by The Foundation and an NGO called Light of Life Trust. HEAL supports children who have be sexually abused. This cause really touches my heart as children around my age have to go through all this when they are at no fault. The number of cases of child sexual abused in India is roughly around 200 million , that is 8 times the population of Australia. Moreover even though people are aware about this no one takes any action because of their ignorance. Now it is time we do something about it and raise our voices.I urge you to donate money so that we can spread awareness and help these sexually abused children. Even a small amount can make a difference to some child's life. Light of Life trust works towards transforming the lives of children living in rural parts of India. They also empower destitute women with life skills so they can break the poverty cycle. Children living in rural parts of our country have so much talent and potential but they aren't given the opportunity to use it. Light of Life Trust empowers these children and gives them opportunities so that they can be employed when they grow up.
