Today, lakhs of children are subject to sexual abuse. In India, a child is sexually abused every 15 minutes, according to the government figures. While some of us may be privileged enough to be enjoying various luxuries in a safe and loving environment, others are being abused in ways none of us can think of even in our worst nightmares. To help our community, we must not turn a blind eye to a matter of such magnitude, and put our best foot forward to try and help save these children.
