I'm supporting the NGO, 'The Foundation' because it serves as an opportunity for me and many others who are willing to provide support to those who are victims of sexual harassment. India ranks second in terms of sexual harassment cases in the world and certain measures immediately need to be made. In the year 2011, a total of 33,908 cases of sexual harassment were estimated in India alone. This approximates to around 3 children being assaulted each hour. The statistics itself can horrify anyone but more importantly, act as a wake up call for all citizens of India to address one of the most rampant problems faced by our society today.
