Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024
Hello everyone, I am raising pledges to support the underprivileged children of my age to be able to access good quality and interesting books for reading, inculcate love for books and reading.
You can help a child have all of this simply by gifting her a set of books! It would take just Rs. 500 for us to introduce the magic and wonder of books to a young child at a construction site, a child living with life threatening illnesses or a child from a marginalised slum community. A mini library for their centres costs only Rs. 15000.

About Me
I am Vanshika Ajay Govale. I am five years old and am studying in Senior K.G. Its fun going to the school everyday. At home, I have a lot of interesting small books which are colourful and full of pictures. While, I am still learning to read and write, I love these books. My mother and granny always help me read read out the stories in these books.
My papa works for an NGO and he told me that, many other children of my age do not get such good books to read. This made me feel very sad. But, Papa also told me that, I could help these children get access to some books. That is why, I am raising pledges to support Let's READ project through which NGO United Way Mumbai will reach to the neediest of the children and help them start reading!
