Blessings and happiness doubles when its shared... Therefore, I am running this Marathon supporting the campaign for children who are not as fortunate as me. Save the Children's rural Initiative PRIDE India's programme Muktashala’ is an effort to foster the children of the ‘Katkari tribe’. While their parents migrate in search of work, the programme provides comprehensive care for 70 tribal children including a residential and day care facility, nutritional and after school support, life skill sessions, healthcare provisions and activities for their social and emotional development. The facility is located in a remote tribal hamlet of Mahad (rural Maharashtra) and seeks support to continue providing quality services to these children who are otherwise deprived of essential care.
