The Foundation has decided to work for parts of India (Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir and Manipur) with below average developmental indices from where it will select children and give them an unparalleled education in the best institutions in the country from grade 6 to post-graduation coupled with multifaceted experience and exposure both deep and wide so that in 15-17 years, they assume the role of thought leaders and change makers and help in creating and contributing to the wisest and most sustainable development in their homelands.
We have called this initiative REACH (Restoring Equality through Education and Advancement of Children).
We do this by providing our children excellent quality education from some of the most prestigious institutions of India such as Rishi Valley School, St, Xaviers College, Mumbai, Sophia College, Mumbai, Sahyadri School, Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore among others. In our endeavour to do so, we often times are challenged with the high costs of private education in India. For the holistic development of each child it is imperative that we focus on extra-curriculars as well, which adds to the overall cost of education.
All our funds are utilized in making payments related to academic expenses, child development costs which include workshops and other personal/professional development expenses, mentoring costs for their educational, emotional and psychological needs and travel expenses.
