HEAL is a foundation thats works toward preventing child sexual abuse in our country. Today, one in every two children are sexually abused. An experience like this can emotionally, mentally and physically scar a child's life and lead to psychological trauma. This foundation organises seminars and information sessions, to help teachers and parents communicate with children to prevent and deal with sexual abuse, giving them an area to understand, and work against this evil.
As a fundraiser for this NGO, i believe every donation to this cause, can help towards making CSA so rare, that people will forget it ever had to be given a name in the first place.
About Me
I am a sixteen year old girl, who has the privilege of knowing she will wake up in her own bed in the morning, safe. Now, imagine the millions of children that don't have secure homes. The ones that barely know the evils that are alive in our society today. If someone touches them inappropriately, hurts them, assaults them; at most occasions they wouldn't even know that this is a crime, or that the law protects them against this abuse.
HEAL is a foundation set up to educate people in rural areas about child sexual abuse, therefore helping prevent it. This is why i support this organisation, and wish to help them as much as i can in spreading awareness, and fighting against CSA to the best of my abilities.
