I joined BRM as a Fellow of the 1st batch of The Community Connect Fellowship (CCF) in 2013. It was a deep learning experience to work with youth, citizens and govt to solve local civic issues.
It made me realize the responsibility and power we as citizens have. It pushed me to hassle and negotiate with RTO dept, Consumer care of India and private company for my rights and bring in accountability in the system.
CCF's impact on me, made me believe how important it is to build youth leadership and active citizenship. From there on, I continued to co-ordinate and later lead different batches of CCF to build more youth leaders and experience many such change stories manifest for real!
