Dear All, We all care for our country, our society even if we express it in many different ways. The backbone of our (or any) country and society are our women. Stronger the womenfolk, stronger are family bonds. Families with stronger bonds value the societal relationships by interweaving the family bonds across. To cultivate stronger women, it is imperative to empower the girl child. Provide her with education, opportunities to learn and grow. So, she can grow to be strong and independent. So was the ancient saying “यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यते, रमन्ते तत्र देवता”. Where the women are worshipped, there Gods are pleased”. As the government said “educating a girl child is equal to educating a family”, when one supports the education of one girl child, it amounts to contributing towards one stable and sustained future family. The fact that our Prime Minister had to initiate a campaign “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ” shows the sad fact how much the girls of India need to be supported. One such project that aligns with the “बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ” is the Project “नन्ही कली”, run by Mahindra group.
