I was visiting a temple in Shirdi and was just leaving when I happened to see a tiny, weak and upset girl sitting in the corner of the temple. I was concerned and thus asked her what had happened the answer she gave me hit my six year old heart like a rock. She told me that she had not eaten a meal in 2 days. I thus ran and got her some food and that moment changed me forever. The smile on her face screamed "THANKYOU!" as she finished every bit of the food I had given her. I felt unexplainable joy. This was my introduction to the world of social service. In order to feel that joy again and again I began to teach underprivileged children music, language and about worldly affairs. The joy on their faces is unexplainable and the hunger to learn more is endless. Thus when I heard first about this cause through my school teachers I knew that there will be nothing that will make me feel satisfied more than this. I think that the best way to help someone is by not letting them know at all. That is why this cause is more than perfect for me to help children who want to learn but don't have the resources to. Even small donations go a long way. Like, for every 7000 rupees 10 children will get a school kit, for every 14000 rupees 20 children will get a school kit and for every 3500, 5 children will get a school kit. So together lets help these children's lives a tad bit easier and gift them a smile because "A smile is the greatest gift a human can give".
