At 18 years, when we have to leave the Child Care Institute (CCI) and have to stand on our own feet, it becomes very difficult for us to earn a living and dream of pursuing any further education. Thanks to Catalysts for Social Action (CSA), we have received support to overcome our fear and to face the world. I want to become a Graphic designer and CSA has helped me with just that. They have enrolled me with Anubhav Computer Institute, where I am doing a 4 months course. Post completion, I will take up freelance projects in design. With the money I earn, I will save up and continue to study further. I aspire to complete my Bachelors in Mass Media. I am running the 10 Km race for this year’s Tata Mumbai marathon in support of fellow youngsters just like me. This is my first major run, I am very excited and am training diligently to run the marathon! My goal is to raise INR 5,00,000 - I do hope you will pledge your support and help me achieve my goal.
