I am a Brigadier in the Indian Army by occupation, a Physician-Endocrinologist by qualification and a Marathon runner by passion. I feel strongly about giving back to the society in my own way. I feel that charity through the sporting community is a great way to achieve humanitarian cause, as sportspersons by nature are well meaning and believe in supporting others around them, on and off the field. While we spend so much on our own luxury and comfort, let us share some of our wealth with those who are going through difficult times battling the woes of dreaded cancers. Let us help them find a way with their treatment and rehabilitation and live a healthy and productive life.
