Started in 2002, Thane SPCA was built from scratch by people who wanted to not just change themselves but also change society by helping animals who couldn't speak or express themselves but suffered in silence. Treating more 150,000 animals till date with a dedicated and hardworking hospitals staff and an equally committed leader Mrs. Shakuntala Majumdar, with the support of 3 ambulances. State of the art machinery and excellent success rate is nothing short of a boon to the animals here. Clearly animals know more than we think and think a great deal more than we know.
