NGO’s especially in India do not get that type of funding that is actually needed, we as a society collectively need to take initiatives, even if it be doing the most minimalistic thing on our part, I want to be able to help and reach out to people who actually are in need of help be it contributing physically or monitory. I’m raising funds on behalf of the Nargis Dutt foundation and helping towards the cause of empowering women with educating them. I’m participating in the 2020 TATA Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for women empowerment in rural Palghar. Through the project “Aashayein”, Nargis Dutt Foundation has empowered over 200 women and children with the skill of tailoring. This has made them self sufficient and has helped them earn an income.
