I am participating in the Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for Population First- an organization working on gender equality, women empowerment and social development issues through its two main initiatives- AMCHI and Laadli. It is a cause which is very close to my heart. I am excited that I would be raising funds from my family and friends for such a worthy cause. Population First’s AMCHI initiative promotes quality health and nutrition services, as well as positive changes in hygiene and sanitation behaviors. AMCHI empowers women through economically viable livelihood projects and brings about change & growth both at economic and social levels. Project Laadli - Seeding change in media and advertising through advocacy. Undertakes innovative interventions with media persons, Creative Directors, Script Writers of TV and films, and college students I am urging -all of you to support me to raise funds for AMCHI and LAADLI by donating generously.
