‘CanKids…KidsCan’ is an organization that works towards providing best standards of treatment care and support services for children with cancer and their families. It provides support from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, and hopefully, after into survivorship. And for the families of the fallen heroes, bereavement support and counselling, to honor and cope the ones that had lived. The organization aims to provide holistic support to families of children with cancer under its signature model, the YANA – You are not Alone Program, that is delivered through CanKids Hospital Support Units and CanKids Care Centers. This organization gives children hope and courage to get through their disease, and an opportunity to help rebuild their life this life-startling realization of cancer. This is my appeal to you-- to help CanKids, to be a crutch, to be their biggest allies, and to be the hope that they desperately need.
