About Me

From being a college and school hiker to becoming a post-50 marathon runner, my journey has been about embracing challenges, building resilience and pushing boundaries.
Giving back has been an equally important part of that journey. It is a value I strongly believe in, and as Co-Founder of Juris Corp, I ensured that it got embedded in values of the organisation. This belief has shaped my involvement with the social sector and my choice to support organisations that create thoughtful, long-term impact.
The NGOs supported through this fundraiser, work at the grassroots level to empower communities through education, skilling, inclusion and financial independence. Their focus goes beyond addressing immediate needs—they tackle systemic challenges.

Appeal

This commitment to giving back is rooted in a belief that real change happens at the grassroots — where individuals and communities are challenged not just by a lack of resources, but also by limited access to opportunity. Ensuring that this belief is embedded within Juris Corp has been important to me from the very beginning.

Aftertaste Foundation works towards economic empowerment of women, using art and craft as a medium to enable them to earn a dignified livelihood. Aftertaste works with the women and their families continuously, to bring about social change by empowering them with knowledge and exposure to build capacity in the areas of education, healthcare and financial literacy leading to an improvement of the socio-economic condition of their families.

NeevJivan Foundation focuses on rural communities, especially tribal women; by providing vocational training, entrepreneurship support and market access so they can build sustainable livelihoods without migrating to cities in search of work. Their approach is holistic; equipping people not only with skills but the mindset and support system to build lasting economic independence in their own villages.

Mann, empowers people with special needs, focusing on ability over disability, combatting exclusion and stigma faced by individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). They provide guidance and education, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives within society.
