About Me
I’ve always been drawn to the stories women carry, especially those shaped by resilience, creativity, and quiet strength. Through my book Bows & Ties, I’ve had the opportunity to sit down with women across industries and generations, learning how confidence, dignity, and access to opportunity can transform not just individual lives, but entire communities. That work has deepened my belief that women’s empowerment isn’t symbolic, it’s structural.
That’s why I’m supporting organizations that move beyond awareness and create real pathways to agency and independence. The organizations I’ve chosen to uplift work directly with women and girls who have been historically marginalized, focusing on education, economic empowerment, and breaking cycles of exploitation and poverty. Supporting them aligns with the heart of Bows & Ties: amplifying women’s voices, honoring their stories, and investing in futures where women define their own lives on their own terms.
Appeal
I’m proud to support Apne Aap Women’s Collective, Aftertaste Foundation, and Centre for Social Equity and Inclusion because each organization tackles systemic inequality at its root. From empowering women affected by trafficking to creating sustainable livelihoods through art and craft, and advocating for education and rights for socially excluded girls and youth, these organizations are restoring dignity, opportunity, and agency to communities that have long been marginalized. Supporting them means investing not just in relief, but in long-term change—breaking cycles of exploitation, poverty, and exclusion, and helping women and young people build futures defined by choice, independence, and equity.
