I am Mahesh Paradkar, a Mumbai based fort enthusiast and passionate nature lover, has been a dedicated supporter of United Way Mumbai’s tree plantation initiatives for the past two years through the Tata Mumbai Marathon’s Green Bib program.

Deeply inspired by Maharashtra’s historic forts and the resilience of natural ecosystems, My views every tree planted as a living fortress against climate change.

So my aim to raises funds for the TMM Agro Forest Initiative, which transforms drought-affected lands in Solapur into thriving agro-forests using 100% native species like mango, jamun, neem, and custard apple.soil restoration, and livelihood support for local farmers. I am appeals to all who cannot plant trees themselves: **“Donate to United Way Mumbai—your contribution becomes a tree, a shield for the planet, and hope for a farmer’s family.
