Bhumi is one of India’s largest youth-led NGOs, working since 2006 to create an equitable society by enabling young volunteers to drive change. Our core focus lies in transforming education for underserved children and mobilizing citizens for sustainable civic action. Through our flagship Ignite program, Bhumi provides STEM-based education, life skills training, and mentorship to thousands of children in shelter homes and low-income communities. We aim to bridge the educational divide by equipping children with 21st-century skills and digital literacy. In addition, Bhumi supports meritorious students with need-based scholarships, helping them pursue higher education and break the cycle of poverty. Under the Catalyse initiative, we engage volunteers across India in environmental drives, tree plantation campaigns, clean-up activities, and awareness programs focused on sustainability and climate action.
