Bhumi is one of India’s largest youth-led NGOs, transforming lives since 2006 by empowering young citizens to become changemakers. With the belief that every child deserves equal opportunity, we mobilize thousands of passionate volunteers across India to bridge the education divide and lead impactful civic action.

At the heart of our work lies our unique Clubs volunteering model - a powerful platform where youth from schools, colleges, and corporates come together to design and implement solutions for pressing social issues. Through these clubs, volunteers gain leadership skills while enabling sustainable change in their communities.

Our flagship Ignite program reimagines education for underserved children through volunteer-driven teaching. From STEM-based learning to life skills, literacy, and digital education, Bhumi’s volunteers run engaging sessions that prepare children for the future. These sessions not only enrich children’s learning experiences but also nurture confidence, creativity, and critical thinking. Together, we are shaping a generation of problem-solvers and lifelong learners.

This year, at the Tata Mumbai Marathon, Bhumi is proud to run for a cause - raising funds to strengthen our Clubs model and education initiatives powered by volunteers.
