Our area of intervention is Uno's article 31 - Right of the Child to Play.
In Children Toy Foundation C=Creative, T=Time and F=Fun. At Foundation children have creative time & fun.
Our aim is to educate children beyond reading and writing, to help them acquire real skills and develop positive attitudes in their life to instil a sense of pride in them and further boost their confidence. For this, we use the potential force of toys and games to mould the character and temperament of the young ones and hone their Latent talents.
Games give training in life skills such as decision-making, time management, negotiation, critical thinking and leadership.
To achieve our objectives,
Establish/help to set up toy/game libraries
Establish & run Static/Mobile Khelvigyan projects
Revive old games and develop new ones
Arrange Inter school, Inter College and family contests in fun & mind games
Skill development and vocational training.
At present At Present with 4 Mobile Vans & Khelvigyan Centers.
We Add Years Into The Life Of 45000 Children.
We Feel Our Biggest Award Is The Smiles On Faces Of Over A Million Children We Have Influenced.

Appeal

As you know established in 1982, we are a registered charitable institution working for the Right of the Child to play. We work in 32 municipal schools in Mumbai and 4 schools at Baroda. We also visit construction sites, slums and hospitals to make children happy. About 6000-7000 children benefit from our projects. Thus we try to educate and entertain them and hone their latent talents.. We have also established 293 toy/game libraries in 11 states and 2 territories of India in Jails, Hospitals, Slums, Schools, in senior citizens centers etc.
You will appreciate that to run an Institution of this kind, we depend on the generosity and patronage of philanthropic institutions and individuals. To raise the necessary funds for our Institution,

CTF features in Limca Book of Records. We have been awarded by International Toy Library Association and Internatial Association for child Right to play for our concept of On the Spot Contests. Also won the Mother India Awarded for social work from Indian Organisation for Commerce and Industry . We have also won Big Mumbaikar Award in its inception year only of BIG 92.7 FM
