Who We Are
Kamalini is a vocational training centre established in Sohna in 2017, dedicated to empowering women from rural communities through vocational education, life skills, and literacy programs. We promote self-reliance, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods, serving women from over 20 villages within a 10 km radius of our campus.

Kamalini’s mission is to equip women from underserved backgrounds with holistic education, vocational training, and confidence to become agents of positive change in their families and communities.
What Makes Us Different
In rural Haryana, women face social and infrastructural barriers to education and employment. Kamalini bridges this gap by providing free, safe transport and a women-only learning environment equipped with Wi-Fi, laptops, and digital tools. Our practical, hands-on training programs are regularly updated and supported by personalized mentorship and assessments. With a strong focus on employability, confidence-building, and exposure, Kamalini helps women overcome societal constraints and pursue meaningful, self-reliant lives—empowered, skilled, and ready to shape their own futures.

How do we propose to use the funds we collect
1. Trainers and Campus Support Staff Remuneration
The largest chunk of our expenditure is towards our staff salaries and remuneration. We try to maintain a high staff to student ration so as to support personalized mentorship and continuous assessment. We also have 24X7 security of our campus from a reputed agency so that students and their parents feel confident about security while in the campus. All these expenses constitute more than 65% of our total expenses in the year.
2. Safe and Secure Transportation
A significant barrier to education and development of Employment ready skills in rural Haryana is lack of safe transport. We provide pick up and drop facilities in our own or hired vehicles to our students thus enabling them to reach the institute. Running costs and Maintenance of these vehicles makes up slightly over 10% of our total expenses.
