Jidnyasa is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the educational opportunities for underprivileged rural children and marginalized migrant children of sugarcane cutters. Since our founding, we have been committed to providing access to quality education and creating a supportive learning environment for these vulnerable communities.
With a population of over a billion, one-third of whom are children, and an extreme poverty rate of 21%, India has a large number of underprivileged children who lack access to wholesome food and quality education. These kids have no choice but to work as child labourers in order to provide for their families and get by each day. Therefore, they are losing out on the chance to not only have a happy and healthy childhood but also the chance to pursue education in order to improve their future
Jidnyasa is working for these children named #Sakharshala providing the kids better education and healthy meals. Also, we are working in Zillah Parishad School. School is the main space where children spend their lot time in the premises. We are initiating child as well as school development. School are not well equipped with all facilities. There is lot of things where we need do intervention in the school for child development.

Fields Shouldn’t Steal Childhoods
Every year, thousands of children migrate with their parents to sugarcane fields in rural Maharashtra.
Instead of playing, reading, and learning, they spend their days in temporary huts near the fields, doing household chores or caring for younger siblings while their parents work long hours.
For these children, school is far away, safety is uncertain, and the joy of childhood slowly fades into responsibility too soon.
Through Jidnyasa Initiatives, we are changing this story.
We bring mobile learning spaces to the sugar factory sites, so children can learn even while living in migration.
We create safe spaces where they can play, read stories, draw, and just be children.
We give them nutritious snacks to keep them healthy and attentive.
We talk with parents, helping them see that education is the key to breaking the cycle of hardship.
When you see a child from the fields pick up a book for the first time or proudly write their own name, you realize how powerful even a small effort can be.
Your support can give these children what they deserve – a safe, joyful, and hopeful childhood.
Even a small contribution can bring books, play, learning, and care into their lives.
Because no child’s childhood should be lost to the fields.
