Youth for Seva (YFS) is the largest structured nationwide volunteering movement dedicated to inspiring youth to engage in meaningful community service. Over the past 17 years, YFS has focused on critical areas such as education, health, environment, and livelihood, significantly impacting 3.6 million beneficiaries across 13 states, 42+ locations. Through its efforts, YFS has successfully engaged over 2.5 lakh volunteers, fostering a culture of service and social responsibility among the youth.

In recognition of its unparalleled contributions to community service, Youth for Seva was awarded the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava Award in November 2020.

Youth for Seva's philosophy is deeply rooted in the traditional Bhartiya concepts of 'Runa' (The Debt) and 'Yajna' (The Sacrifice). The idea of Runa emphasizes that individual success is not solely the result of personal efforts but is supported by contributions from parents, teachers, friends, and even many unknown others. Yajna reflects the idea of selfless service and giving back to the community. These principles drive YFS's mission to create a positive impact and promote collective responsibility and gratitude.
