About Me
I am Dr. Shailesh Wagle working as Assistant Vice President at United Way Mumbai. I have a masters degree in Public Health and working for children has been one of the main goals for me becoming one. I lead the health vertical at United Way Mumbai and work towards reducing public health challenges with my super team of public health professionals.
Appeal
I have spent 10 years working at United Way Mumbai and have been part of a few awesome projects working with children, women, elderly and also LGBTQIA+. Project Poshan works in Karjat and has shown great impact towards reducing malnutrition among children under 6 years age. The project works towards improving awareness levels among pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls and also boys.
