About Me

Hi, I’m Avijit. I believe in equal opportunity, dignity, and inclusion - for every being, human or animal. Over the years, I’ve learned that real change begins when we choose to stand beside those who are too often unheard or excluded.

This year, I am raising funds for Mann, because I’ve seen how belief, care, and structured training can open doors for adults with disabilities - helping them earn, live independently, and be valued for who they are.

I share my home in Mumbai with 11 adopted cats, each a reminder that love and acceptance can change lives. Through this campaign, I hope to extend that same belief in dignity and belonging to many more.

Appeal

Inclusion is not a favour, it is a right. At Mann, I’ve witnessed how belief, care, and structured training can completely change the lives of adults with disabilities.

The sparkle in their eyes when they hold their first salary, the pride of buying something for their family with money they earned, the joy of eating out with friends, travelling alone with confidence, or simply being seen as equals—these are not small wins, they are life-changing milestones.

For parents who once lived in fear of “what after us?”, today there is hope, dignity, and pride. And for me, there is nothing more powerful than seeing these transformations unfold.

This year, I want to do everything in my power to bring more smiles, more freedom, and more dignity into their lives. Will you walk beside me to create not just an equitable, but a truly inclusive world?
