About Salaam Bombay Foundation:
Salaam Bombay Foundation (SBF) believes that "A child in school has a future." Since 2002, they've been empowering India's most vulnerable adolescents to make informed choices about health, education, and livelihood. Their programmes span Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, and Kolkata, reaching students’ studying in Class 7th to 9th from government and government-aided schools.

I am fund raising through the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 to support Salaam Bombay Foundation (SBF), an organization that truly believes that “A child in school has a future.”
Since 2002, Salaam Bombay Foundation has been working tirelessly to help children from underprivileged communities stay in school and build a better life. Many children are forced to drop out due to poverty, lack of guidance, and difficult home conditions. SBF steps in to support them with education, life skills, health awareness, and mentorship—giving them the confidence and opportunity they deserve.
