About Me

I have recently joined the Board of CEQUE, having been associated it with it since several years. It has been heartwarming to see the depth and impact of the programs and I hope that we can continue the momentum with your contributions.

Although I am based in the US, this cause is personally important to me, having seen how education transforms lives in my own family and those of so many. Each and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, and this is only possible with teachers with the right supports enabling them to impart knowledge in the best possible way, despite low-resource settings. Our current and future generations deserve this, and together, we can make this happen.

RUN FOR TEACHERS

At CEQUE, we train and coach government school teachers to adopt effective and child-centric teaching methods that help improve learning for the most underserved and marginalised children. When a teacher grows, an entire classroom grows. For many children, a great teacher is not just an educator - they are the only bridge to opportunity, dignity and a future beyond poverty.

So far, we have reached over 3,200 teachers and 150,000 + students in more than 2,000 schools across 8 districts in 3 states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. Each teacher impacts an average of 400 students over their professional lifespan of 20 years - that’s 400 futures transformed through a single investment.
