Appeal

Teachers are the cornerstone of quality education in a thriving society. However, government school teachers in India are inadequately prepared to teach effectively, (TISS,CETE,2023) which has led to abysmal learning levels: Among 5th graders, 1 in 2 are unable to read a simple story. This gap in teacher capacity directly impacts the learning outcomes of millions of students relying on public education as their pathway to a better future. Every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the right to quality learning that empowers them to reach their full potential. To achieve this, we must first empower our teachers. By investing in their professional development, we can equip them with the skill, and knowledge to create engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environments.
Our fundraising initiative will be used towards our flagship Teacher Innovator Program that we provide to teachers from grades 1-5:

· Training workshops
· In-class coaching
· Lesson planning support
· Learning materials

A donation of 25,000 will support one teacher and a class of 20 students annually. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference. Together, we can build a strong educational foundation, ensuring every child has a better future.
