Appeal

I am Shanu Kaith and I belong to a small village called Shilh in Banjar Tehsil of Kullu district Himachal Pradesh. I am one of five siblings and the youngest daughter among four. In our family, all of us are the first generation to either attend or plan to attend college. My younger brother is still in middle school. I am the first in the family to think of going outside my state to study. I have watched my elder sisters attend the local college and understood that the future will remain bleak if i were to do the same. I want to see the world, learn in the right environment and do well in life to help my family. I have started applying to to a few colleges and am looking at some more options for when i complete class 12 in March 2026.
In order to make that shift to a bigger city and a better college, i will need financial assistance as my family is not in a position to support my admission to colleges outside the district. We are farmers with small land holdings and a meager income that seems to reduce every year. I request you all to help me meet my funding goals so that I may be able to study, gain experience and support my family.
