About Me
I'm a 46 year old lawyer from Mumbai. I'm proud to support Project Amhi by running the Open 10k race at TMM 2026 as a Fundraiser as I believe in the cause that Project Amhi is working for.
Appeal
Project Aamhi, an NGO dedicated to addressing the critical issue of solid waste management in Raigad district.
Solid waste management, especially in semi-rural and rural areas, is often overlooked, leaving plastics and other non-biodegradable waste to accumulate in our eco-systems.
Under Aamhi's initiative, locally employed women collect waste across 25 villages, covering 65 sq. km. The waste is sorted and sent for recycling, removing over 15 tons of waste from the ecosystem every month. In this manner, Aamhi has collected and recycled more than 415 tons of non biodegradable waste.
