Hello, I’m Nikhil Bhalerao, 30 years old, I am a visually impaired participant, and though I face challenges every day, I always try to stay positive and keep moving forward.
I believe that life is about giving your best, no matter what your limitations are. Running gives me strength, confidence, and a sense of independence. I’m proud to be running with Heed India this year and to represent the visually impaired community with courage and hope.
Appeal
I’m running the 6 km Dream Run at the Tata Mumbai Marathon with Heed India.
For me, this run is more than just a race—it is a way to express freedom, determination, and belief in myself.
I want to show that disability does not define us. Our effort, mindset, and spirit do. Running motivates me to push beyond limitations and inspire others who may be facing similar challenges.
