We have fulfilled all statutory requirements to become an NGO that enables one to get tax exemptions on their donations. The foundation of HEED is based on the pillars of Sports, Health, and Education, which, we believe, are the cornerstones of any progressive nation.

We are committed to fostering equity and opportunity for underserved communities. Our flagship program, Creating Level Playing Fields, focuses on empowering children from marginalized backgrounds by using sports as a medium to impart essential life skills, build confidence, and promote holistic development. We also integrate health initiatives, such as Digital Health programs, into our mission to improve overall community well-being.

Appeal

We committed to empowering underprivileged children by encouraging their active participation in sports. Recognizing that Sports, Health, and Education form the pillars of a progressive society, our mission is to create a positive and lasting impact on these children's lives through holistic sports programs.

Our objectives include fostering the holistic development of children by providing comprehensive sports programs that emphasize skill development, mentorship, and character building. We aim to enhance their physical and mental well-being by promoting regular physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and access to vital health resources.
Children: Focused on improving physical fitness, life skills, and access to sports and health resources.
Families: Engaged in feedback processes to assess the impact of programs on overall well-being.
Community Members: Encouraged to participate in initiatives to foster inclusivity and address socioeconomic barriers.

Project DescriptionSports Program (Mumbai City and Suburbs):
The funds were instrumental in organizing a successful summer camp for children from our suburban centers in Mumbai, providing them with a structured environment to develop their athletic skills and engage in team-building activities. Additionally, a portion of the funds was allocated towards compensating our dedicated coaches, who are regularly on the field providing hands-on training and mentorship to the children, ensuring their consistent development both on and off the field.

Our Sports Program supports over 1,000 children aged 6-18, providing them with structured sports training that fosters physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development. The program is inclusive, with over 40% female participation, ensuring broad access and empowerment through sports. Our Rural Health Initiative benefits over 10,000 individuals of all ages in the rural regions of Aurangabad, Jawhar, and Palghar. By deploying an advanced digital health platform, we aim to improve healthcare access and outcomes, enhancing overall health management in these areas. We also focused on optimizing logistics for mobile healthcare units in Jawhar, ensuring that timely payments and smooth operations contribute to effective and timely care delivery.

Beneficiary DescriptionHeed India bring everyone together without biases. Grassroots sports not only increases children's interest in sports but also serves multiple purposes, such as developing motivational skills, teamwork, and discipline. We aim to instill enthusiasm in these children, helping them maintain mental focus on their goals without distractions. Despite the reluctance of investors worldwide to fund grassroots sports, we have not lost hope. We stand by our vision of uniting children through grassroots sports, even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. HEED INDIA focuses on shaping the future of these children, providing them with the best possible support due to their lack of basic resource
ImpactWe started with 1004 kids spread across 27 centers' were trained in Boxing, Kabaddi, Taekwondo and Athletics. The encouraging part being 34% of the total number of kids were girls.
Expert coaching team was in place with most of our coaches either NIS certified or had represented at State / National level in their particular sport. We had 12 number of coaches and here too we ensured we had equal number of female coaching in our team.
