About Me
I am Rishikaa Sharma, currently a 2nd year psychology Student who believes deeply in supporting people who quietly fight difficult battles every day. During my time interacting with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, I witnessed how even simple daily tasks—buttoning a shirt, wearing a watch, holding a spoon—can become challenging. Yet their resilience, courage, and determination moved me in ways I cannot explain.
This experience made me realize how important therapy, emotional support, and awareness truly are. That is why I wish to support NGOs working for people with Parkinson’s. They help bring dignity, confidence, and strength back into the lives of those affected—and I want to be a small part of that change.
Appeal
Dear Friends,
This year, through the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 with a special purpose close to my heart. I wish to raise funds for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, these are people who fight silent battles every single day because of their movement disorder, yet continue to show immense courage and strength.
Your support, no matter how small, can help provide therapy, care, and hope to those who truly need it.
Let’s come together and make their journey a little easier.
Join me. Support the cause.
Let’s run for a steadier, stronger tomorrow.
With gratitude,
Rishikaa Sharma.
