About Me
Hi, I'm Rimika Baheti, a grade 11 student at Oberoi International School JVLR, born and raised in Mumbai.
I first connected with the MOHAN Foundation while leading my school's Navratri event. Through the funds raised in this event, we have been supporting and contributing to the Anudaan initiative started by the MOHAN Foundation for two years. This initiative aims to help underprivileged families afford life saving organ transplants.
Last year, our contribution helped a two year old child receive a second chance at life. Hearing how that transplant restored hope and happiness to the child's family opened my eyes to the long lasting and significant impact of organ donation on so many people around us. Listening to more stories directly from recipients made the cause feel even more meaningful, allowing me to truly connect and work towards this cause.
These moments sparked my passion for supporting MOHAN Foundation's mission. They showed how even small efforts can change lives. Therefore, I aim to continue raising funds for the Anudaan initiative, so more children and families can receive the support they need.
