My name is Bhoomi Maru, and as a second-year psychology major, I am deeply passionate about understanding human behavior and promoting both mental and physical well-being. Working with PDMDS has strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals living with Parkinson’s disease — and through this opportunity, I strive to contribute meaningfully, raise awareness, and serve this community with empathy, knowledge, and genuine care.
Appeal
I’m fundraising for patients with Parkinson’s to help them access better care, therapy, and support. Seeing how challenging daily tasks can become for them made me realise how important early intervention and continuous assistance are. By contributing, we can ease their financial burden, improve their quality of life, and give them hope. Every small effort brings us closer to helping them live with dignity and strength.
