About Me
I'm signing up for the run because I needed a challenge, that compels me to push my physical limits. However, I knew I couldn't run this monumental race just for that challenge or for that medal, I needed a deeper purpose.
I'm a first-time runner and I have the luxury of choosing this challenge. But for many children in rural India, they are the first-generation learners - they don't choose poverty, but they desperately need the chance to succeed. Hence I'm committing to run and raise INR 50000/- atleast so that they can conquer the limits placed on their future while I conquer my physical limits.
Every blister, every ache, every moment of my preparation is no longer just for me, it is a sponsored step towards the day a child stands on their own - educated, confident and ready to lead.

Isha Vidhya runs 10 rural schools, providing a holistic, English-medium education to over 10,000 students. Crucially, they offer FULL SCHOLARSHIPS to 60% of their students ensuring that financial constraints never force a bright student to drop out.
The fear I feel before a long run - that inner voice saying "you cant do this" - is nothing compared to the daily challenge these families face : deciding between feeding their child and educating them.
Isha Vidhya removes that impossible choice. They ensure these bright minds get a holistic, joyful learning experience that includes, computers, sports and a daily nutritious meal. By supporting Isha Vidhya, we are not just educating a child; we're changing the economic trajectory of a family.
