About Me
My name is Kaira Jain, and I’m a student at Hill Spring International School. Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to learn about the incredible work being done by Muktangan, an NGO that is transforming education for children from underserved communities in Mumbai.
What inspired me most about Muktangan is their belief that every child deserves the chance to learn with joy and dignity. They don’t just teach , they empower. By training community members to become teachers, Muktangan creates a powerful cycle of learning and opportunity that uplifts entire neighborhoods.
As a student who has been fortunate to receive quality education, I feel a deep responsibility to help make that same opportunity available to others. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping Muktangan continue their life-changing work.
Appeal
This year, I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support Muktangan, an organisation that provides quality, inclusive education to children from an under privilege communities while empowering local women as teachers.
Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream — and Muktangan makes that possible every day.
