About Me

I’m a Grade 11 student at Hillspring International School, currently studying in the AS Level program. Every Friday, I visit a Muktangan-run government school something that has become the highlight of my week. Spending time with the children there, organizing fun activities like housie, dances, and crosswords for Grades 3 and 4, has shown me how powerful joy and learning can be when they come together.

At first, I went simply to help out, but I soon realized how deeply Muktangan is changing lives. The students are full of energy, curiosity, and dreams all they need is a fair chance to learn and grow. It’s made me believe that knowledge truly is power when even one child in a family gets a strong education, it can transform the future of the entire household.

Through this campaign, I’m running the Tata Mumbai Marathon to raise 50,000 for Muktangan Educational Trust. The funds will help provide creative learning materials, teacher support, and resources that keep these classrooms full of possibility. I’ve seen firsthand how much hope education brings and I want to make sure every child continues to have that chance.

Appeal

I support Muktangan Educational Trust because I’ve seen how it changes lives in the most genuine, human way. Every Friday when I visit their school, I see children who come from tough circumstances light up with excitement to learn, play, and dream. Muktangan gives them what every child deserves a chance to believe in themselves.

What touches me most is how Muktangan doesn’t just teach lessons, it builds futures. It empowers women from local communities to become teachers, turning education into a movement of hope that spreads from one family to another. Each classroom is filled with warmth, laughter, and the belief that every child has potential no matter where they come from.

I’m supporting Muktangan because I’ve felt the impact of what they do. I’ve seen how one good education can transform not just a child, but an entire family’s future. Running this marathon is my small way of helping more children experience that same joy and opportunity.
